Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex
A deep dive into the neurological technology that resets the central nervous system to instantly eliminate chronic pain.
The Control System Behind Movement
Imagine your body is a complex network. The bones, joints, and muscles are the mechanical structure. The nervous system is the control center. When a system fails, we don't immediately replace the physical components; we first check if there is a signal error. Traditional medicine, however, tends to treat the human body purely as a mechanical structure, applying invasive treatments or massages to structures that are only reacting to bad signals.
P-DTR is the first neurological therapy that systematically addresses functional problems at the signal level: the mechanoreceptors.
1. The Trauma
An accident, severe injury, or prolonged bad posture damages the tissue. The receptors in that area start sending constant "danger" signals to the brain.
2. The Compensation
To protect the area, the motor cortex alters your mobility. It inhibits (weakens) certain muscles and causes spasms in others. This compensation generates pain elsewhere.
3. The Reset
Through specific stimuli and the deep tendon reflex, P-DTR isolates the defective receptor and "reboots" it. The brain stops receiving the danger signal, instantly removing the compensation.
